The Sainte-Croix Animal Park is the ideal place to watch and learn more about the deer mating season, thanks to the Park's teams. To help you make the most of the season, the Animal Park has set up a discovery centre to explain deer behaviour in a precise and educational way.
It's important to know that even though deer are more virulent in the evenings and mornings, the proximity of animals accustomed to the peaceful presence of humans is exceptional, allowing you to see the bellowing and hear the ‘raires’ (the hoarse call of the males) even in the middle of the day.
