Marxberg National Necropolis is located on Buhl Road (route de Buhl). 1608 people are buried there: French soldiers who fell during the Sarrebourg Battle (August 1914) and those who passed away in hospitals (French and German people). You may also see the graves of soldiers who perished in Hesse, Imling, Hoff, Réding, Saint Pierre Biberkirch as well as soldiers who perished during Rhineland occupation. Soldiers who died during the June 1940 military campaign also lay here.
